Danish healthcare students’ visit in the Kanizsay

So the first thing what I want to say is thank you very much for this special experience.

This was a perfect opportunity for me, taken that. I could meet Danish people, who came from a

healthcare school, too, and of course, I could practise speaking English a lot. I got to know a really cute and kind Danish woman, her name is Bries K..

On the first day when we met our Danish guests, our teacher asked us to make and show them a PP presentation about our school with my classmates, Reni, Szerafina.

It was really awesome . After that we went around our school and we showed them the anatomy classroom and other exciting rooms.

On the second day ,we went to Olajág Old People Home in Zugló. It was quite interesting. We took place in the culture hall, and we listened to the home's manager lady talk about the

this place. For example, how many residents they have got and how much was the admittance-fee. etc? How many programs their residents can participate. They usually plan some trips for their residents. After this information sharing we could see the place inside and outside ,too.

I felt really great there. This event increased my confidence. It was really helpful for me.

Sometimes is so hard to say goodbye to people who live in your heart, but I am so grateful for meeting them.

I hope once upon a time, I would travel around the world and I would meet lots of nice

people. I would like to build my relationships with kind foreigners, too.

And English language will be my second mother-language, too. :)

Danish Students’ Visit

On the 5th October a Danish students group came to visit our school. Me and some of my classmates and my English teacher showed them around in the school building. We showed them the healthcare rooms, the library and the P.E hall. After that me and my classmates qave a presentation to the Danish students about our capital city Budapest, and our school the Kanizsay Dorottya Healthcare Vocational School. It was such a cool experience and after the presentations we talked to them in English a lot.

Next day we went to Olajág Old people's home with the Danish students. We looked around in the buildings with the head manager of the establishment. The old people living there have their own hairdresser's salon, swimming pool, and a "mini hospital", massage and physiotherapy room and a huge restaurant. And every resident or every couple have their own apartments. The old peoples live in good conditions in Olajág and they get the best care from the great specialists, doctors, and nurses working there.

This two days proved to be a pretty cool experience, we talked a lot in English, so I practiced and learnt a lot. The Danish students were so nice with us and I hope to see them again in the future.
